We can just say it...

“British Muslims were expected to protest at the Danish embassy in London today over the publication of cartoons depicting the prophet Muhammad.
One organiser of the demonstration planned to take place at the building in Sloane Street, west London, said he expected hundreds of Muslims to take part.”

Guardian Unlimited (GU)

And why is it that the Muslim community has the right to protest, peacefully, in the Capital city? Because thankfully, we still maintain a freedom to speech that is denied many others in other Places of the World.
I have seen the Cartoons that are apparently causing so much outrage amongst the Muslim community and as much as they may cause offence to them and their religion they do not cause me any such offence as I have no faith to burden me.
I find the cartoons neither offensive, or particularly good, but they are an expression given by 12 individuals on how they see someone else’s religious belief.
Apart from being an atheist my other disbelief is that the British Press dare not publish the; what area of our lives is currently not taboo amongst the Sunday gutter press? Even to the unfortunate entrapment of someone like the England football manager.
Has our Press really lost its balls?

If they have offended then surely an apology is all that is required.

And if you found this offensive then I am sorry. Now lets all just get on.

‘The cartoons were first published in the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten in September. They were then run in several other European newspapers and one in Jordan, which later sacked its editor.’ GU
