Teenager drinkers, just!

Yesterday, early evening, as I was walking home I passed by the local SuperMart, the sort that is still privately run and not yet taken over by one of the bigger Chains.
You can get most of the things you would wish from a weekly shopping trip; however, it is the sort of place that is not always consistent with its stock. It can be a bit hit and miss as to what type of goods they have, but they always seem to have the most obscure items, curtain hooks, sowing kit, water pistols, that kind of thing.

The one mainstay of the grocery basket they do stock is copious amounts of alcoholic beverages including many on special offer.
It was several of these items I witnessed three young lads carrying away from the shop, namely eight cans of lager beer. The three had and average age of 12, the eldest being no older than 13 yrs of age.

Were we not promised a cut back on the sale of such items to underage drinkers? The shop, in fairness, does display all the right signs about needing ID and the sale of such products etc.
So how do they still leave the vicinity of the SuperMart with their supply of illicit goods?

They ask, badger, beg and harass passers-by to purchase them on their behalf.

So next time a drunken yob throws up in your street and hurls obscenities at you don’t blame him for being a jerk, blame the arse who was foolish enough to buy it for them in the first place.
