When this began I welcomed people to []my soap box[] unsure of where I would take this...it has now taken over from my living with cancer blog as it is far easier to maintain just the one nowadays. So, although the moans may be less frequently posted I hope others may benefit from reading this; that’ll do for starters.

Although she appears extremely controversial and will not appeal to every one I would love to listen to her views on just about everything, whether I agree with her not.

The 2007 Nobel prize for literature has been won by the British author Doris Lessing. Lessing, only the 11th women to win the prize in its 106-year history, is best known for her feminist masterpiece The Golden Notebook.
