2006 – is a very good year to win the Football World Cup.
I don’t know whom I have been drawn from the World Cup sweep at work as I have not been there for a week or two: I do know however that I have not drawn England, this therefore increases our changes of going all the way tenfold, despite the injury to Rooney.
I still have my retro 1966 shirt bought in 2002 and a new shirt from a larger UK retailer, no signs of the cross of St George from either my car or upstairs window but I will be shouting with the best of them come Saturday.
And that will be my only contribution on this blog to the Finals, until we win that is.
