An understatement

At last Tony Blair has finally admitted, ironically on Al-Jazeera TV, that Iraq and been a disaster, yet the Political spin still goes into overdrive to cover his apparent ‘slip of the tongue’ during his interview with Sir David Frost.

Instead of falling in line behind Tony Blair the Labour Party would best serve its Members, the UK and the Middle East by admitting outright that the war in Iraq has been one of the biggest Foreign Policy blunders in recent British history.

The whole truth will out one day and I hope those responsible will apologise to the British public and its armed forces for taking it into a place it should never have been allowed to enter into without the support of its nearest neighbours and the international community.
