Bowled over

Yesterday evening I went the AGM at the club I play crown green bowls for and came away having been voted into the position of Chairperson for the coming season! I am sure this will give me plenty more to moan about during the course of the year.

Weight loss this week: An extremely pleasing 2 ½ lb – therefore I have been bowled over twice; I am well satisfied with this effortless loss, much to the annoyance of my partner, who in fairness has tried harder than I this week; [14 st 11 lb]
