A,B,C, What?
Official government advisors are to advice ministers that cannabis should remain graded as a class C drug, however ministers are set to reject this advice.
The Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs say cannabis is not harmful enough to be upgraded back to the more serious class B.
Unbelievably, less than a week after Gordon Brown has said the local election results would make the government listen, the Home Secretary Jacqui Smith is expected to ignore the advice.
This once again smacks [excuse the pun] of political posturing and the arrogant contempt shown by politicians, not only to the electorate, but also to their own advisors.
