The man needs a new jacket

I am a great believer in Fredom of Speech within reason, within whose reason is always a little tricky; so when Jeremy Clarkson the Top Gear presenter slanders the PM Gordon Brown I cannot lose too much sleep about it because within my reasoning he has a right to his comments, so dont call for the the talentless bigot to be taken off the air just hit the off-switch on the TV remote, it is about time Clarkson was outed for what he is, an Ape in an ill fitting suit jacket.
In Clarkson's defence I know how much better he must feel for getting something off his hairy chest because I feel so much better for having said my piece.

Political soundness of mind

I could not let it wait too long before thanking Gordon Brown for renewing my faith in good old fashioned Socialist values and the role he has played in leading not on the UK but also Europe and the US on a trip to recovery. The recession still has a way to travel but at least the melt down has been arrested a little.
I always believed many years ago that G. Brown would come out of the shadows of the former Labour Party Leader John Smith [1938-1994] having spent many years learning from the great man, whose life was unfortunately cut short.
Now that he has stepped out of the darker recesses of the shadows left by Blair G. Brown has been able to show the depth of his political prowess without breaking into a sweat or, as Blair would’ve done, a song and dance about it.
It is now time to put an end to the Greedy and self motivated rule of law in both Governments and Banking systems alike and a final nail or knife in the back to the legacy left by Thatcherism, New Labour [Blair] and the Zionist that is GW Bush.

Back' in Labour

I watched Gordon Brown deliver his speech at the Party conference yesterday afternoon and I was so impressed I immediately stopped what I was doing to listen. It was so refreshing to hear someone who once again sounded like a true Labourite instead of New Labour. To be honest the tag of New is now well and truly laboured. I only hope that those who wish to challenge his leadership for their own gain will now shut up and work with the rest of the Party to ensure we come out of this recession with some good standing.

I for one will not be sad on hearing this mornings badly timed news that Front Bench lady Ruth Kelly, claiming to want to spend more time with her children, has decided it is time to step down. I despise people who put themselves and their religious beliefs to the detriment of everything and everyone else and therefore I do not think she will be a loss to the Labour front benches.
The best move for this transport secretary is to put the throttle to the floor and disappear into the horizon quickly.

Unclear Gordon

I saw on the news in the early hours of this morning [we get snippets of ABC news on BBC news 24] that Hilary Clinton is out of the Democrats presidential race, only someone has forgot to tell Hilary.

George Bush is being given a slating from a former Aide, albeit to boost book sales, it is just a pity these spineless morons never come out and say anything at the time.

Gordon Brown will not reduce the tax on cars or duty on petrol because of his ‘green’ policy, yet he is encouraging the North Sea Oil companies to produce more Oil for the medium to longer term usage, where is the sense in that. On the one hand he is attempting to reduce our dependency upon, and use of oil, and on the other he is producing more for us to use.

He also wants to increase our dependency upon Nuclear Power with his intention to not only replace but also expand our Nuclear capacity – N.I.M.B.Y Mr Brown thank you.
Is debate on the UKs Nulcear programme just a smoke screen to divert attention away from the current fuel crisis?

A,B,C, What?

Official government advisors are to advice ministers that cannabis should remain graded as a class C drug, however ministers are set to reject this advice.
The Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs say cannabis is not harmful enough to be upgraded back to the more serious class B.
Unbelievably, less than a week after Gordon Brown has said the local election results would make the government listen, the Home Secretary Jacqui Smith is expected to ignore the advice.

This once again smacks [excuse the pun] of political posturing and the arrogant contempt shown by politicians, not only to the electorate, but also to their own advisors.

Rough ride through elections

I have just seen a video of President Bush conducting an orchestra and to be perfectly honest I don’t think I would trust him to be the conductor on a bus!

On a day when the Labour Party has lost control of so many councils in the
local elections I think it is about time we in the UK began to question the driver our governmental bus right now. Correct me if I am wrong but wasn’t Mr Brown the conductor on Tony Blair’s bus before Tony eventually sped off to earn his fortune?
If you are going to step into the shoes of an unpopular leader then at least try changing the routes taken a little before hitting a brick wall and then say you are willing to listen. Too late for that Gordon, the wheels are about to come off your bus altogether if you don’t act now.

BAE Saudi arms deal

How many more times will Gordon Brown be expected to cover up the decisions he and Tony Blair took whilst in office?
